Ergonomics looks at the workspace and its design as well as the environment in which we work. An Ergonomic assessment will evaluate the workstation and identify changes that need to be made in order to minimise the risk of injury and minimise discomfort. A safe and comfortable work station is critical to prevent aches, stiffness, headaches and injury and will also ensure good working posture. An assessment will look at set up of the work station / area, ease of movement around work station / area, heights and angles of equipment, lighting / glare, working posture.
